I’m Dayanara Ramirez Baez. I’m 17 years old, born and raised in Hawaii, and currently a senior at Lahainaluna High School. This year I’m graduating, and Lialina Jewelry is part of my new beginning.

I’m the daughter of Latino parents who built their own business from the ground up. Watching my mom and dad work hard, create opportunities, and believe in their dreams inspired me to start something of my own. I didn’t just want to graduate — I wanted to build something meaningful.

Growing up in Hawaii has deeply shaped me. The ocean, the seashells, the textures of the sand, and the treasures found along the shore inspire my designs. There’s something both peaceful and powerful about the sea, and I wanted to capture that feeling in every piece.

I’ve always loved jewelry — especially necklaces. I love how one simple accessory can transform an outfit and instantly make you feel confident and feminine. Jewelry, to me, is more than something you wear — it’s a way to express yourself.
